Delivery and returns

DELIVERY POLICY

(1) Dispatch of your item(s)

(1.1) If you place your order before 9am Monday to Friday your item will be dispatched the same day.  After this time your item will be sent out the following working day.

(1.2) Payments made by PayPal e-cheque will take longer to be dispatched, this is not a recommended payment method. To ensure a fast dispatch please pay using Stripe or instant payment on PayPal.

(1.3) All orders are final therefore before submitting orders please ensure all details are correct, once your order has been dispatched we are unable to change the shipping address and cancel orders.

(1.4) If you no longer want your item you will need to send the item back to our Returns Department for a refund.

(2) Delivery

(2.1) We currently provide postage to the UK ONLY

(2.2) Delivery Charges 

Our Postage Prices are below; 

NOTE: FREE SHIPPING ON ANY ORDER OVER £300.00

Express Delivery: £5.50 (TRACKED 24)   Duration: Next Day Delivery (Applicable for orders placed before 9am GMT)

       Standard Delivery: £3.99  Duration: 3-5 working days

  (3) Additional Notes

(3.1) All deliveries are sent on a tracked service without a signature.

(3.2) If you require your item(s) to be delivered to a different location after placing the order please contact us as soon as possible so that we can attempt to resolve this. You can contact us by replying to your confirmation email or emailing shipping@mylocalpostoffice.co.uk

(3.3) Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, Isles of Scilly and Channel Islands and any other UK non-mainland locations may take up to 5-7 working days.

(3.4) Unfortunately deliveries do not take place on bank holidays, in this instance please expect your delivery/dispatch on the next working day.

(3.5) Any Express or Next day service only applies for delivery from Tuesday – Friday (on orders placed from Monday to Thursday before 9am). Express delivery orders placed after 9am on Friday will be dispatched on Monday.

(3.6) We do not provide a Saturday delivery service, however our customer care team may be able to assist you so please get in touch via shipping@mylocalpostoffice.co.uk. Or make a request in your order notes. 

(3.7) BANK HOLIDAY NOTICE: Please note that we do not dispatch or deliver on bank holidays as our offices are closed. If you have ordered Express delivery your item will be dispatched on the next working day. 


RETURNS POLICY
If you need to return a full or partial order, send us an email at returns@mylocalpostoffice.co.uk and send your item(s) to: Holmfirth Post Office, Station Road, Holmfirth, HD9 1AD. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Gift cards are non-returnable.

REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)
Refunds take between 10-15 working days to be processed. After such time if you have not received the refund contact your bank to check the status of the delay. If this does not resolved your query please contact us at info@mylocalpostoffice.co.uk.

SALE ITEMS (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at returns@mylocalpostoffice.co.uk and send your item to:Holmfirth Post Office, Station Road, Holmfirth, HD9 1AD.

SHIPPING
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Holmfirth Post Office, Station Road, Holmfirth, HD9 1AD. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
